Bad Weather

So how's the weather back home? I hear it's not so good. I can empathize with that... It's 8:30AM and it's already 18C...a high of 31C today (feels like 35 with the humidex). I can't stand this extremely warm sunny weather.

IGNITE!

I wish they would... This weekend, Carleton is host to the All Ontario Youth Convention - i.e. Bible Camp. There are a lot of hooligans running around campus and filling up the cafeteria at lunch time. The theme for this year's conference is "Ignite!". Perhaps they hope to ignite the flame of God inside of each of them...Perhaps they are a group of pyromaniacs offering sacrifices to God. There really is no way to tell.

Here's a link to their conference rules. Rule 11 is interesting:

11. I will not bring to convention a skateboard or any form of firework, sparkler, or combustible fuel

Not only is it kind of prejudice, implying that skaters would bring these things, but it also goes against my theory of pyromaniacs. Recovering pyros perhaps?
